The Feminine Palette

As you know by now I am not much of a neutral colors girl, I prefer mostly bright bold colors, but when I saw this palette I thought well this has a little of both. This palette has a few neutral shades as well as a few shades that pop with color. So I asked for the this for Christmas and I got it, yea!

 What I love about Urban Decay is their packaging, I mean most palettes I buy come in a plastic case or something similar and they dont add anything special because they assume you only care about the product but for me the packaging is part of the product. This palette certainly screams feminine to me, I especially love the peacock feathers.

The shades in the top row from left to right are stray dog, swf, and midnight cowboy. The shades in the bottom row from left to right are aquarius, darkhorse, and ecstacy.  It also came with UD's 24/7 liner in Zero and UDPP in Eden.

Sorry for the half assed picture, believe it or not it took me about 30 trys to get one this good. My 2 favorite shades are aquarius and ecstacy, of course.  Ecstacy is such a pretty purple, its a very shimmery shade yet there is no glitter in it. The same goes for Aquarius theres also no glitter but very shimmery, this is the perfect sea foam green color. Swf and Midnight Cowboy are both very light shades with alot of glitter in them. Swf is a very light peachy pink color and very glittery. Midnight cowboy is great for a brow highlight, its a very light glittery nude shade. Stray Dog is a shimmery brown shade with no glitter. Darkhorse is a very antique brassy brown shade with a bit of glitter. 
  Overall I am pretty satisfied with this palette, like I said it has the best of both a few neutrals and a few pops of colors. I know I need to embrace neutral shades a bit more because you can create some gorgeous looks with them.

Christmas Gifts!

Whew, I know its been like a month since my last post but I was super busy with the holidays and I just had alot going on. This year my family was lucky enough to have almost all my brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews together for Christmas Eve at my sisters house( we always do my family's Christmas on Christmas Eve) to celebrate. We also celebrated with my boyfriends family on Christmas but not everyone could make it, my boyfriends brother is in the Marines and he and his wife and kids couldn't come up from North Carolina this year. I know Christmas was over a week ago but I wanted to share with you the gifts I received. But first i gotta tell you like some men my boyfriend isnt such a good gift giver so I help him out a little and order what I want and he wraps it up for me. Trust me its better this way one year I got a shower head for Christmas, I dont want to seem ungrateful but what woman wants a shower head for a gift. Ok lets see if i was naughty or nice!

This was my favorite gift, this is a 10 drawer storage cart. I had seen Kas from Pretty Addictions had one similar in one of her youtube videos and I was like oh I so want one. I think I need a few more lol!

I love every pair of these earrings! Fashion Bug is my new favorite place for earrings, their prices are fairly cheap to each pair was $12 or less.

This is an order from Fortune Cookie Soap that was placed during the Black Friday sale, of course I picked it all out. Not to complain but this will be the last of my orders from them, in my last order they forgot an item and half of the products didnt work as they were suppose to but I gave them another chance and guess what they forgot 2 of my items( during the sale they had buy 2 get 1 free), I was suppose to get 2 free items so I put my 2 free items in the notes like it said to but didnt receive them so I emailed them twice to 2 separate emails with no response. Dont get me wrong I am still grateful for the gift just a little irked that Fortune Cookie Soap screwed it up.

This is the best knife set I have ever owned so far. Its a 15 piece set from Chicago Cutlery so if your in the market for a new knife set try these out they many different styles and sets.
