Lil Ulta Haul

Right now Ulta is running an online promotion where if you spend $25 you get a bag with 10 samples free. They say its valued at $35 but I don't really see how but I was ordering anyway so what the hell. I really wanted to pick up the full size of Urban Decay's Primer Potion in Sin because I received a sample size with my vegan palette and loved it. I ended up getting the Original Sin Primer Potion Duo because it was only $19 and I personally like the original applicator bottle with the doe foot wand. I also picked up the Basically You Super Blender Elliptical Sponge, and Japonesque Travel Eyeshadow Crease Brush. Lets see the goodies...
I actually did do a swatch of the UDDPP but the Original did not show up because its basically the same color as my skin so I figured I would just give a description of both shades. Original is very light I would consider it an Ivory shade and Sin is a gorgeous champagne bronzey color. Sin will make almost any shadow color pop. I only use Original when I wear more neutral light shades, which isnt very often cuz  I'm a color girl! If you haven't tried Sin yet I highly recommend  it.

Next I picked up the Basically You Super Blender Elliptical Sponge. I just wanted to try something different to apply my foundation instead of a brush because sometimes I'm up at 3 am getting ready for work and need something quick. For the most part I like it but it does seem like it absorbs a lot of the foundation, I think it works better for light coverage so I only use it when I'm in a rush. Oh and another thing I like is the shape it makes it easy to hold it in your hand without getting your foundation all over your fingers.

Then I picked up this Japonesque Travel Eye Shadow  Crease Brush. I'm always on the hunt for new brushes especially shadow brushes so when I seen this on sale for $10 down from $15.50 I had to get it. Sometimes I'm a ditz and this was one of those times I didnt realize I bought the travel size and when I got it I was like wth why is it so little, Duh I forgot to read the details lol! Well anyway I do like it even though its tiny, it doesn't shed like many other brushes Ive tried but I dont think its worth the original $15.50 price.

These are the samples from the free sample bag plus the 3 I received with my order. I'm not gonna give a description of each and every item because we would be here all day. I received 4 perfume samples: Viva La Juicy, Lovestruck by Vera Wang, Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs, and Beckham Signature. Out of the 4 I liked 2, Beckham signature I already have this but I love it and Viva La Juicy this is such a light sweet scent and not too overwhelming.  I also received 4 moisturizers, Aveeno, Jessica McClintock, Philosophy's Miracle Worker and Murad Age Reform. I havent tried any of them yet. I also received Fekkai shampoo and Oscar Blandi Hair Lift which I haven't tried but Ive heard good things about both.Theres also Benefit's Girl Meets Pearl and Laura Geller's Spackle. I haven't tried the girl meets pearl yet but I have used Laura Geller's Spackle before and its one of the best foundation primer's I have used.
